The Vows

The invitation of Jesus “Follow me!” (Mt 19, 21) is also addressed to us. Each sister had experienced in the most depth of her heart, this call of Jesus full of love. In community, we try to answer to this call through the evangelical counsels.

Through the vow of chastity for the Kingdom of heaven, we engage ourselves to keep our heart free for a greater love of God and of others.

Through the vow of poverty we want to follow Jesus by a simple and modest life so that God may be our sole true richness. Through the vow of obedience we are united to Jesus who was obedient to his Father unto death on the Cross. “In a frank and constructive dialogue with the legitimate superiors to whom God has entrusted the grace of leadership service, we make effort to discover the will of God so that we may exert ourselves actively and responsibly in the service of the mission of our Institute.” Constitutions, art. 33 Through the evangelical counsels we have the mission to witness of the new and eternal life acquired by Christ on the Cross, to announce the future resurrection and the splendor of Kingdom of Heaven.
